This was like the only decent dimsum place in Vaughan. I came here for brunch with my husband and in-laws. The place was very packed and a very small place for a dimsum restaurant. Some of the food was delicious but it was way too crowded. It was difficult to grab a server, difficult to grab hot sauce and the service was okay.
I think it would have been worth the drive to go to Markham instead for Dim sum.
This place has your typical dim sum but it was a bit too expensive and small portions.
Happy eating fellow yelpers! -

I'm not too sure of why this place gets really low reviews, however i had a good first experience at this restaurant. When we came in for dinner, it wasn't too busy; with a just a few big tables seated. The server greeted us and was going to ask for how many, but we told her that we had a table already. The old man who took our order was pretty nice and attentive to what we ordered, plus he was friendly to the kids sitting with us.
We ordered one of their signature dishes which is the pecking duck course. The food did not take too long, with the duck arriving first. Our others dishes came promptly as we started to eat the duck and we were running out of space haha. Luckily the servers were able to think fast and helped us condense things to have space.
The food overall tasted great, and the portions weren't stingy for the price you pay. Everything was cooked just right, and the meat was tender. All of us enjoyed the food and had no complaints whatsoever. We had a great first experience here, and will plan to come back :)
TIP: they do take debit, and weekdays is probably the best time to come as there's less cars; easier to park and the servers will be more attentive to you since there's less tables around -

The food is decent. Customer service is average. The price was average as well. No big compliments. There were few times we have to ask for tea refill.

The only dim sum location in the hood. Food was descent, but definitely not as good compared to markham places.
Hao gao the dough was too doughy
Turnip cake was mainly made with the starch instead of thinly pieces of radish, therefore the was missing something. They could have added a bit of dried shrimps or chinese sausages to help on the flavors.
Lotus leaf rice was tiny!
Beef balls were okay, but they didn't even give us the worcestershire sauce with it .
The other dishes were alright.
If you live in the neighborhood and you are really craving for dim sum i guess it's okay, at least it was better than all the places we have in montreal -

The best Chinese food in Vaughan. Worth a drive from Toronto. Authentic dishes and great service. I love their dim sum and deep fried crispy chicken.
